Welcome! I am Gabriela (she|her|hers) and I provide adult therapy to folxs navigating their journey through pregnancy, postpartum, and parenting. Transitioning to parenthood is life-changing. It provides an excellent opportunity for self-reflection that can lead to growth & create a time to heal our inner child. The daily demands of parenthood leave us feeling lonely, imbalanced, tired, depressed, anxious, dissatisfied, and irritable. Other factors such as grief and loss, role transitions, and interpersonal relationships can impact our balance as a parent. Being human is complex and you don’t have to figure it out alone. Give yourself the gift of time.

As a Woman of Color, I have learned that in order to support my Chinese Mexican children, my lens has to be one that acknowledges the systems and structures that impact families during this vulnerable perinatal period. I enjoy seeing my clients stay true to the richness of their cultures and honor their values, despite the messages received from the dominant culture and thrive via their parent-child relationship.
